I'm a full-time artist living and working in rural Hampshire. My work explores my inner thoughts, musings and observations - looking with curiosity and creating stories rather than offering explanations. Daily walks through woodland, a space long associated with stories and folklore, help to quieten the outside world and feel closer to nature. Moving between drawing and painting, images emerge from my imagination, sometimes half remembered dreams or fragmented memories but always imbued with the shapes, colours, movements and atmosphere I observe and absorb. My ethereal artworks offer a place of sanctuary, where reality is suspended and the imagination can wonder.
